Sweepstakes casino daily bonus rules are simple at the core: you can claim a free bonus once per 24-hour period, usually a mix of Gold Coins and a small amount of Sweeps Coins. The details differ by operator, including how streaks work, whether verification is required, and what you must do before the Sweeps Coins count toward a prize redemption. Always read the current rules of the site you use, because amounts and conditions change.
What a daily bonus is
A daily bonus is a free coin offer you claim by signing in. Gold Coins are for entertainment play and cannot be redeemed. Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency that may be redeemable for prizes once the operator’s conditions are met. For the basics of the two currencies, see our guide to the dual-currency sweepstakes casino model.
Daily bonuses are one of the free ways to receive Sweeps Coins. Under the “no purchase necessary” model, operators also describe other free routes such as mail-in requests. Our explainer on what no purchase necessary means covers that in more detail.
The 24-hour rule
Chumba Casino’s Sweeps Rules (version 18.0, last updated August 28, 2025) say participants can claim a Daily Bonus once per day and that the daily clock resets every 24 hours. The rules describe the steps: sign in, open the “Get Coins” pop-up, click “Daily Bonus” and then “Claim” if eligible. Global Poker’s Sweeps Rules (version 10.0, updated March 11, 2024) use the same once-per-day, 24-hour wording.
Some sites describe the reset differently. A third-party guide to Stake.us, last updated October 8, 2026, says its bonus is claimable once every 24 hours and resets at midnight. Because a “day” can be defined in different ways, check the timer shown in your account rather than assuming.
Streaks: what they are and what resets them
Some operators raise the daily amount as you claim on consecutive days. Global Poker’s rules say the amount shown in your account increases at specified intervals after a specified number of consecutive logins, and resets after seven consecutive days of claims. Other sites run longer or shorter ladders, and some have no streak at all. The Stake.us guide above says there is no streak system and a missed day is simply not carried over.
The practical point: a streak is a feature of one operator’s promotion, not a standard rule. Check the claim screen to see what tomorrow’s amount will be.
Verification can affect the bonus
At Global Poker, the rules state the Daily Bonus is only available after the account has been verified to the operator’s satisfaction. Not every site does this, but it shows why a bonus can be missing on a new account. Our guide to sweepstakes casino verification documents and timing explains what operators usually ask for.
Daily Sweeps Coins and redemption
Free Sweeps Coins are not instantly cashable. Chumba’s rules say Sweeps Coins allocated to a participant must be played once before they are eligible to be redeemed, unless the operator requires otherwise, and that the operator may require more plays (not exceeding 20) in its discretion. Global Poker’s rules set a minimum prize redemption threshold of US$50, so small daily amounts only matter once your eligible balance reaches that level.

Expiry and inactivity
Chumba’s rules state that Sweeps Coins are only valid for sixty (60) days from the date a participant last logged on, and then automatically expire. Other operators have different inactivity windows. See do Sweeps Coins expire for a comparison.

FAQ
Can I claim the daily bonus twice in one day?
No. The rules we reviewed at Chumba Casino and Global Poker allow one claim per day on a 24-hour clock.
Do I lose my streak if I miss a day?
At operators with streaks, a missed day generally interrupts the ladder, but the exact rule is set by each operator. Global Poker’s rules describe increases after consecutive logins and a reset after seven consecutive days of claims. Check the claim screen on your site.
Are daily bonus Sweeps Coins redeemable right away?
Not normally. Under Chumba’s rules, Sweeps Coins must be played at least once first, and a minimum redemption threshold applies at some operators, such as US$50 at Global Poker.
Can the daily bonus change?
Yes. Operators can update their rules and promotions, so the amount you see today may differ later.
Responsible play: these sites are for adults only (18+ or 21+ depending on the operator and your state). Play for fun, set time and spending limits, and see our guide to responsible play at sweeps casinos. Free coins do not guarantee any prize.
