Can You Transfer Sweeps Coins to Another Player?

No—at the operators checked, Sweeps Coins and entertainment coins are tied to the account that received them and cannot be sent to another player. Stake.us, Chumba Casino and Global Poker all prohibit account-to-account coin transfers in their published terms. A prize redemption is different: it follows the operator’s redemption process and is not a way to move coins into somebody else’s casino account.

Why the balance stays with one account

Sweepstakes casinos usually separate entertainment currency—often called Gold Coins or Game Coins—from promotional currency such as Sweeps Coins or Stake Cash. Our Sweeps Coins guide explains the two-currency model.

Although the currencies have different uses, operators commonly treat both as account-bound. The balance is recorded inside a named customer account rather than as a freely transferable wallet asset. That is why a “send,” “gift” or player-to-player transfer button generally should not be assumed to exist.

What three operator rulebooks currently say

Operator Published rule Practical meaning
Stake.us Terms section 6.4 prohibits transfers of Gold Coins or Stake Cash between customer accounts or to other customers. It also prohibits converting Gold Coins into Stake Cash or vice versa. Do not try to send, sell or trade either token, on or off the platform.
Chumba Casino Terms section 5.11 says customers may not transfer Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins between accounts or players, receive them from another account, or transfer, sell or acquire accounts. A balance cannot be moved to a friend’s Chumba account.
Global Poker Terms section 5.11 uses the same account-transfer restriction for Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Poker-table transfers and private balance sales are not permitted substitutes.

These examples answer the general question, but they are not universal terms for every site. Check the current rules for the specific operator and promotion you use.

Transfer, conversion and redemption are different

Three actions can sound similar but have different meanings:

  • Transfer: moving coins from one player’s casino account to another. The operator examples above prohibit this.
  • Conversion: changing one in-platform currency into the other. Stake.us expressly prohibits Gold Coin–Stake Cash conversion; do not assume another operator allows it unless its current rules say so.
  • Redemption: requesting an eligible prize through the operator’s approved process. This can involve identity checks, minimums and payment-method restrictions. See the SweepAtlas redemption guide.

A displayed promotional balance also may not equal the amount currently eligible for a prize. The distinction is covered in our guide to Sweeps Coin balance versus redeemable balance.

What not to do

Do not share login credentials, open a second account to receive coins, advertise a balance for sale, or ask another player to redeem on your behalf. The cited rules link account use to the registered customer and describe consequences that can include suspension or closure. A private arrangement does not override the platform’s terms.

If someone offers to buy or transfer a casino balance outside the platform, treat that as a warning sign. Never send passwords, verification documents or payment details. If account security may have been compromised, contact the operator through its official support channel.

If coins appear in the wrong place

Sometimes the real issue is not a desired transfer. A promotion may have been credited to the wrong balance, a player may have signed into an older account, or a household member’s account may be confused with their own. Do not create another account as a workaround.

Instead, record the currency name, promotion, date and visible account identifier, then ask official support to review the credit. Avoid posting unredacted screenshots publicly. Support can explain whether a correction is available; it should not be described as a player-to-player transfer unless the operator says so.

Bottom line

Assume casino coins are personal to the account unless the operator’s current rules explicitly provide a supported transfer feature. At Stake.us, Chumba Casino and Global Poker, the published answer is no. If the goal is to obtain a prize, use the named account’s official redemption route and meet its conditions rather than trying to move the coin balance.

Availability is not a statement about legality, and eligibility rules vary by operator and location.
